PCCN is continuing to grow and expand its payer partnerships, offering our network more opportunities to partner with new health plans as they enter the market. As you may recall, PCCN has messengered two new health plans to its provider membership this year with a January 1, 2022 start date: Employers Health Network and Medica.
The Medica offering is an (IFB) exchange fee for service model that includes PCCN and Arizona Care Network in its participating network. Currently, the total volume of membership in this product is unknown as this will be a new product to the market this year and the plan is actively engaging potential members in open enrollment. PCCN’s Care Management model for this product is still in development. We will provide you with additional details on this product as they are developed.
Employers Health Network:
Employers Health Network (EHN) is a partner to employers, healthcare providers and brokers. In this role, our mission is to empower our customers—employers searching for a long-term answer to healthcare spending—in their mission to provide quality care at an affordable price. EHN partners with employer groups to offer them this level of quality care through advanced, high quality networks like PCCN. This fee for service product will include PCCN and Arizona Care Network as its network and will start with Whole Foods as its initial membership base. EHN continues to establish relationships with other employers here in Arizona and, as that happens, there will be additional membership growth within the population. The initial membership projections for this product is around 1,000 pediatric patients. PCCN will offer its Care Coordination service to all patients under this plan that are seen in your office.
If you have additional questions around either of the two products, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Practice Integration Representative.
