Quality Improvement Projects to Continue in 2021

Phoenix Children’s Care Network (PCCN) is proud to continue to offer Quality Improvement projects. Our Maintenance of Certification (MOC) projects have been able to award credits to 14 physicians with 10 additional physicians currently enrolled. These projects include: Adolescent Well Care, Well Care for children 3-6 years of age, Developmental Screening, and Drowning Prevention.

The Faculty Learning Collaborative with Phoenix Children’s Psychiatry and the Early Access for Care Arizona (EAC-AZ) Autism Program have been immensely successful with many community providers enrolled. Both programs offer MOC upon completion. There are plans to offer both courses again in 2021.

Members of the PCCN Quality Committee are also working on three additional Quality Improvement projects. These projects are Vaccines for Children, Emergency Department Utilization, and Patient-Centered Specialty Practice. Research and data are being evaluated and will be shared through best practices as they are developed.

We continue to be committed to delivering high-quality, coordinated, cost-effective pediatric care. If you are interested in learning more about any of these projects, please reach out to a member of the Practice Integration Team.
